These blocks feature a textured, paintable white surface and are made of solid, sturdy plastic material. They provide a good snug fit on lap siding ranging from 4 inches to 10 inches. The compact size of the mounting block set, measuring 6.63 inches wide by 6.63 inches high, is ideal for double 1/2 inch width lap siding surfaces. The blocks can be painted after being caulked for a seamless appearance.

Installation of the siding mounting kit is quick and easy. Simply drill a hole through the siding lap to pass a wire through, cut the desired opening along the provided patterns on the backside, or use the drilling support in the middle of the block to create custom-sized round holes. Then, pass the wire through the cable connector and mount the box up. The mounting kit can be used to install exterior accessories such as light fixtures, cameras, and doorbells on various siding types, including T-111, HardiePlank Lap Siding, and other flat surfaces.

Each package includes a Mounting Block with Built-in Electrical Box, allowing for the installation of exterior lights on Vinyl Siding with a mounting plate. In the event that the size of the Mounting Block does not match your siding surface, caulk can be used to seal around the top of the siding mounting kit to prevent water penetration.
